Why it’s more rewarding to manifest for wisdom
No one can argue that we live in a materialistic world but has our obsession with money and materialism replaced the true values in our life?
Many years ago, I met a Fashion Colour Analyst at a Networking Event, and whilst we were talking and exchanging business cards, she asked me if I would consider having a consultation with her so that she could advise me on what the best colours I should wear to bring out the best in me.
From a learning perspective, I would like to use the parable of King Solomon.
When King Solomon was due to be crowned King over Israel, he was visited by God in a dream. God asked him prior to his Kingship, what he desired in order to rule his kingdom. God asked him whether he would like victory over his enemies and wealth. King Solomon refused both of these things and asked for an understanding heart and the wisdom to be a good and wise King to his people. As King Solomon didn’t ask for victory over his enemies or wealth, God gave these to him anyway. During the 40 years of King Solomon’s reign, there were no wars, as King Solomon was able to secure stability through treaties with foreign lands and there was prosperity throughout the land. King Solomon was famous throughout the world for his wisdom and many people travelled far and wide to question him and test his wisdom.
This story displays how the desire to be wise and gain knowledge is the real superpower. If what you learn is cultivated and focused in a positive way then the desire for wisdom can bring forth both money and peace within yourself and in all your relationships.
The motivation to improve oneself is one of the most self-loving and rewarding things you can do for yourself. As we educate ourselves and others, we feel the blessings of this wealth of knowledge. A little learning every day goes a long way and being consistent with your learning is the key.
How do you rate whether you're wealthy or not and what makes you rich?
Wealth is often measured by the size of your house, the car you drive, and the amount of money that is in your bank account. This means that only a few people are rich and everyone else isn’t. It is negative to view ourselves on whether we are financially rich or not. I feel rich because I have a wonderful family, good friends, a career that I love, and hobbies that I enjoy. I feel so blessed and grateful for all that I have and that is why I class myself as rich. You don’t need to have a flashy car, a big house, or millions of pounds in my bank account. When you make yourself happy and truly love yourself, you are the richest person alive.
As King Solomon said, A wise friend makes you wiser. So who you choose to surround yourself with is so important. Placing yourself with the right people can help you aspire and reach your goals.
After more than 25 years of studying personal development and spirituality, I have learned to heal and love myself. I often think how lucky I am to have such a positive mindset and to see myself as wealthy in life.
Being able to view your life and see the riches you have in a positive way, will make you feel happier and more content. It is really all about learning and educating yourself and that is why I believe asking for wisdom is the most important thing to manifest for.
