A spiritual homecoming - a true story

Bless This House

In November 1990 my ex-husband and I moved into our second home, a lovely house in the suburbs of Watford. I fell pregnant immediately after we moved in and in July 1991 I gave birth to my first son, Sacha. Not long after Sacha was born, we would hear banging sounds coming from the nursery upstairs where he slept. Whenever we heard the noises, we would rush up the stairs only to find Sacha asleep in his cot. We were baffled by the noises. When Sacha was two months old, my late father had a massive heart attack and my mother moved in with me whilst my father was recovering in hospital.

One evening when we were going upstairs to bed, we heard the banging sounds again. It was then that, my mother and I both saw the image of a small boy on the stairs about three-quarters of the way up. This little boy appeared to be aged about 4 years old and had blonde curly hair.

Two and a half years later, I gave birth to my second son Miles and the noises in the nursery continued. When he was about 2 years old, I went to see a clairvoyant medium and she told me that my youngest son was psychic and that he was going to tell me that he had spoken to a spirit and that I mustn’t laugh. When Miles was just 4 years old, he started talking to me about Christy. This name was unfamiliar to me and Miles, so I decided that maybe Miles had an imaginary friend. I would ask him frequently if Christy was with us and he would say that he wasn’t. Miles would tell me that he only spoke to Christy whilst he was in his bedroom. I came to the conclusion that Christy must be the spirit that the clairvoyant had spoken to me about. Miles would frequently talk to me about Christy. He told me that he had died in a fire and that his mother had shut their dog in a cupboard. When I asked Miles how he spoke to Christy he would tell me through his mind. Sacha my eldest son also told me that Christy had a brother called James. 

I decided to gain some clarity on this situation and took Miles to Destiny Rising in Radlett (the crystal shop where I now read Tarot and teach workshops). Based on what Miles was saying they concluded that Miles was indeed speaking to a spirit. They felt that he would probably connect with Christy until he was about 7 years old.

We moved home in 1998 and until Miles was about 7, he would tell me that he still spoke to Christy. Even to this day, we talk about the times when he spoke to Christy.

A few months ago, I met my friend Jane for a coffee, and she told me that her beautician had moved into my old house in Watford. I was naturally curious to know what the house looked like now, some 24 years after we had moved out and the new owner kindly sent me some photos for Jane to forward on to me. A couple of weeks later Jane forwarded me a message from the new owners asking if I had noticed any unusual paranormal activity in the house in particular, coming from the small bedroom (Nursery) She sent me a video (via Jane) clearly showing orbs flying around the room. 

We decided to talk on the phone and exchanged experiences. Our stories were identical and the new owner, a mother of three young boys had also felt the same as I had that the spirit was a cheeky young boy. We had a lot in common as both were the mothers of young sons living in that house. I had started my spiritual journey whilst living in the house including making my first connection with Destiny Rising and she had just booked onto a course there to learn to read Tarot. She had also planned to go to Destiny to buy some sage to clear the house. Since living in the home, I had begun sitting in a development circle to grow spiritually.

I offered to spiritually clear the house for her as my family had lived in the house for 8 years, it would be my pleasure to help Christy finally move on.  She was happy for me to help, and she suggested that Miles accompany me to potentially connect with Christy again and help send him into the light. I made plans to go back to my old home the following week, Tuesday 3rd May. 

Accompanied by my two sons Sacha and Miles we visited our old home.  The new owner told me that her youngest son who now sleeps in the nursery was usually a good sleeper but since moving into the nursery had not been sleeping well at all. There had been regular noisy disturbances coming from the bedroom since they had moved in.  They also noticed two big orbs of light on the baby monitor.

Whilst I lived in the house I could only sense Christy, but now I could sense the presence of not just one spirit but two children who had not moved over into the light.  I felt that it was Christie and a younger brother huddled together, cheekily waiting outside the nursery in the hallway.  I could see their mother had passed over into the light and she was dressed in black and red and was also aware of their family black poodle dog with her.  

After using sage to clear and cleanse the room I encouraged the two spirits to move into the white light. After the clearance, although her son was sleeping much better than he was, his mum felt that the house hadn’t cleared completely so I performed a further remote clearance and House Blessing a couple of weeks later.

When I contacted the owner again a couple of weeks later, she happily told me that she felt that the house was clear and she was very happy that the house was now quiet and peaceful.
